Question: Should I forget her as a friend?
(I warn you this is a little long but I’ll give 10 points)Ok,so I’ve been friends with this girl for a little over a year now and she was like my sister we did everything together.Recently we’ve not really been talking we have just a little because she’s gunna date the same guy I like and she knows I like him! He asked her out and he liked me at the time but was scared I would say no?(that’s what he said)And he doesn’t know I like him.Anyway I told her that I liked him again for the second time and she blew it off and never said anything about it.So I was determined to solve it so I told her again at school and she said,”oh” and I told her that I wasn’t trying to tell her not to date him because then I wouldn’t be being a good friend.Then I told her that if she was going to date him then maybe we should take some time off from our friendship.She said ok.Well later on in gym(the only class we have together)I ignored her as much as I could and talked to my other friends,because I was kinda upset that she would choose to date a guy and hurt her friend after she knew I liked him before he asked her out and she knew he liked me.So then a few days later she texts me this is our convo.:Her:are you mad at me? me:What are you talkin about? Her:i dont know me:why should I be mad or something? her:I hope not. me:well I’m botherd but I guess we won’t be hangin out anymore which doesnt really make me all that happy. her:oh,it doesnt make me happy either. me:well sometimes idk..it just seems like you would rather have him for a bf than me as a bestfriend and risk losing me as a friend. her:I want to have both of you guys. me:sometimes it doesnt seem like it i feels like you picked him over your best friend. her:If I ever do I never ment to.I dont ever wanna loose one of my true bff’s me:it feels like you already made your decision.and i think your taking a big risk. her:I don’t want our friendship to end. i never sent anything back because i felt like it was going in circle’s and shes was saying a load of bull.Then later on she texted me hey.And i never texted her back.She hasn’t talked to me today and I’m kinda glad it’s not just over this guy after I told her I liked him again she kept trying to sabotage my hair! She grabbed my hair and was like “ohh it’s no fair you don’t have split ends i want your hair!” (my hair was wavey that day and it’s normally straight as a bored)so she started straightening it and after it was straight she kept going over it and I just knew I was going to get split ends because it was already straight enough and sure enough I got split ends the next few days and I have to wash my hair with this really good shampoo so I felt like she ment to do my hair like that because she knew it was straight and she has horrible split ends from straightening her hair and I don’t becasue I dont have to straighten mine anyway I feel like she stabbed me in the back for a guy and that she’s ignoring my feelings so should I just forget her?Because I have plenty of other friends who have never done me that way.(sorry if this is long I had to do it like this so it would make more sense.)

If she cared about your friendship she would have actually taken the time to talk with you about this before she jumped into a relationship with this guy. I would let her go, friends like her are a dime a dozen, don’t stress over it. Plus for all you know her and him could be miserable and the only reason she’s keeping it going is so she doesn’t look like an ass for throwing your friendship away.
