So im 14 and im sikh

im not allowed to cut my hair because of my religion which is dumb since every other sikh girl my age has cut her hair but my mom just wont allow it and idk how my dad feels about it

i need help figuring out how to convince them, how to make them understand how im a loner at school because of my hair and how it sucks that EVERYBODY has a hair cut except me

its hard having hair thats down to your butt
and i lost alot of it so now its thin and long and i have bad bad split ends cause ive NEVER cut it in my 14 years!!!

i cant leave it open cause its embarressing and i hate wearing it in a braid everyday so i but it in a bun and try to hide it

i tried talking to my mom about it once openly and she said no and got all “what did i do wrong in bringing you up? havent you learned why we dont cut our hair?” she doesnt see my side of it. she started crying and so did i and then i never said anything again

10 points to whoever helps me.

Explain to them calmly what you just said to us. Tell them how your hair is damaged, how people at school treat you (which is stupid because it’s just hair!) and how it’s very hard to style your hair. And I don’t want to get you in trouble or anything but if you are dead set on getting your hair cut then she shouldn’t be able to stop you. If it is really affecting you then get it cut no matter what they say. If they won’t take you to get it cut get a pair of scissors and cut it yourself and then face the consequences, but you’ll feel better with all that hair gone, won’t you? But don’t do this unless you are COMPLETELY POSITIVE it is what you want to do. Keep trying, wear them down!

Question: Why was my question, “How did your spouse propose” removed for chatting when P&S is full of questions like
“Do you prefer ice cream or pizza?” “What does your name mean?” “Do you have long hair or short hair”?

I asked my question to get an idea of ways a character in my story could -realistically- propose to his girlfriend. It was removed for “chatting” and I subsequently lost 10 points for it.

In the automated violation e-mail that I was sent, it said, “When people use Yahoo! Answers to chat with each other, it lowers the quality of the site and inhibits knowledge-sharing.” I responded to this e-mail, but I never received a reply.

Polls and Surveys has thousands of questions that fall under this specific description. Why was my question removed, but these are pefectly acceptable?

Don’t ask me. I cannot understand the logic sometimes. I asked a question “Caps Lock, are you ready to unleash the fury?” and apparently violated community standards.

Question: I havent received any answers to my “pills” question. i would love to hear some comments.?
(original question)

My first diet. Question 2.?

ok. i loved the answers a lot of you gave. now i have one more. its regarding pills. im currently taking:

caffine (of course) a half a pill in the morning and the other in the afternoon. (i cant take a whole pill, it makes me too jittery) im hoping i can slowly grow to take the whole pill.

gelatin: 2 a day, for collagen support. am i right in saying im doing this so as i loose weight it will help my skin adapt to the weight loss and not leave ugly hanging skin. (im 135 now, and want to be 110)

niacin: for metabolism support.

biotin: for skin/hair/nails

zinc: it says on the bottle for immune health, but im taking it because i hear its suppose to be good for you.

now my husband mentioned Hydroxy Cut. is there anyone who has had good results on a particular fat burning pill. do they work? and which is best?

Question: I have a question about “bald” tires…?
Lately I’ve been noticing I hydroplane very easily (at 25 MPH in light rain) but this is my first car. I didn’t know your tired could go “bald”.

I did the penny test and put it face down in the tread of my tires, and one the front tires you can see his hair. On the back tires you can even see the “In God We Trust” part.

How dangerous is it to drive on them? This car is my only means of transportation. I don’t have the money to buy tires right now. But, I won’t risk it if it’s too dangerous.

Take the car to a tire service center.
